5. Typical works under the plumbing proposal for fresh, flushing water supply, drainage system and fire services system provided by us :

A Design and submission stage: pre-tender period (preliminary work)

1. Plumbing proposal include: i) Calculation of water consumption for flats / units in each building / block, pipe alignment arrangement, designed outflow rate of the storage cistern being supplied; ii) Design drawings (mainly including block plan in scale of 1:1000, vertical plumbing line diagrams, alignment plans, calculation list for daily consumption for all trade purposes e.g. draw-off points and sanitary fittings in each flat / unit); iii) Catalogues / Schedule for materials; iv) Different kinds of government¡¦s application forms in relation to the underlying work.

2. BQ presentation.

3. Submission of plumbing proposal to relevant departments of HKSAR for approval before commencement of work.

B Work stage: Site work

1. Commencement of work in accordance to the plumbing proposal and contract. This includes main equipments setting for water supply transition e.g. sump and pump systems (direct and indirect); pipe installation / alignment / arrangement e.g. metering arrangement, underground main / raise main, distribution down pipe and coming pipe to each flat / unit / service. Pipe installation involves concrete construction work for water tanks / pre-cast fiberglass water tank, pipe supporting, drainage tunnel, trench blinding for pipe alignment.

2. Pipe testing at different time intervals of the work.

3. Site visit: interim and medial inspections are conducted by the Water Authority (WA). Approval has to be obtained from WA before backfilling or covered up for underground plumbing work.

C Completion stage: Site work completion

1. Submission of the form to report completion of work after completion of the plumbing works to inform the WA for arranging final inspection.

2. Presence of licensed plumbers and labors for system operation at final period.

3. Submission of related information such as updated drawings and information for related parties¡¦ final commissioning.

4. Commissioning report includes standard information (also for further maintenance purpose) as below:

- Materials / equipments catalog for system.

- Updated and schemed drawings of the pipe routes.

- Certificate for completion of related painting works, e.g. painting on U beam / pipe.

- Testing report for pipe routes and water sample for cleanliness of the pipeline.

- Instruction guideline for daily / weekly / monthly operation.

- Emergency contact list.

- Checking lists for monitoring / running of the system (expiry date of equipments included).
